Bunker host Craig Treadwell says his company, EZ Web Hosting, is “really proud” of its service.
“I think if you look at what’s happened in the last couple of years, I think it’s really a truly the envy for the industry and people who want to host sites, you know, it’s a really cool thing to be able to do, and it’s great to see it growing,” Mr Treadill said.
“It’s really cool that it’s grown into a company that’s really proud of it and that they’re actually the envy and we’re really happy to be here.”
The online hosting business boom is taking its toll on Bunker hosts Craig TREADILL and Rachael Treadworth.
“We were doing the web hosting business, it was kind of like a hobby and now, really, I just want to get back into it and do what I love doing, and I think this is a really good time to be back into that,” Mr Denton said.
Mr Denton and Mr Trawill say they love the online hosting boom and hope to return to their old online business.
“If you look back to the beginning, we weren’t doing this for the money, it just seemed like fun and a way to get a bit of work done and that’s just kind of what we’ve been doing,” Mr Gifford said.
The online host industry is booming in Australia, with sites like Google hosting, WordPress hosting, and even Amazon hosting being popular.
“When we were doing WordPress, it would have taken two weeks for us to have a site up and running, and we were on the other side of the world, so it’s been a really fun experience, but it’s definitely not the way we thought it would be going forward,” Mr Bowerman said.
