Softaculous, the company behind popular WordPress-based hosting service Christchurch, has announced a partnership with Cloudflare to offer an easy way to purchase domains.
The news was announced today at the Softacious Webcast.
It sounds like a fairly standard approach to getting a domain name, which is great news for the developers of hosting software like WordPress.
Piotrowsky explained that the deal will be available to registered domain owners in the United States and Canada for a total price of $14.99 per month. “
But you don’t have to do anything special to do it.”
Piotrowsky explained that the deal will be available to registered domain owners in the United States and Canada for a total price of $14.99 per month.
This means that for those in the US, a $14,000 monthly subscription to the domain name service will cost you $16.99.
That’s about $6.25 a month per domain.
If you’re looking to buy a domain for $15,000 or less, you can still use Softaculously’s free plan.
For $15 a month, you’ll be able to purchase up to one domain and it’ll cost you a total of $19.99 a month.
If you want to buy more than one domain, you will have to pay $49.99 each time you use a domain.
That’s an additional $10.99/month.
The other interesting thing about this deal is that if you buy a site using Softacools free plan, you don.t have to worry about getting sued over the domain.
In a post on the Softcaws site, Piotrowks said that the new Softaculus service was built specifically for “newbie users” to help them get up and running quickly.
You’ll be prompted to select your preferred payment method and then select the domain you’d like to purchase.
Once you’ve made the payment, you should receive an email with instructions for creating a new account on Softaculas new site.
The Softacius website is a work in progress, and there’s no word yet on when it will be ready for people to download.
